Every Spring, Sporting Life, hosts 10 km.run/walk fundraisers in Toronto, Ottawa and Calgary to support Camp Ooch, located in Muskoka Ontario.
Since 1983, Camp Ooch has impacted the lives of children affected by Childhood Cancer. The Camp is a privately funded, volunteer-based organization that provides kids with cancer with a unique opportunity for growth through challenging, fun, enriching and magical experiences. This year, due to road construction, the Toronto route had had to be revised, and Coach Pimm was brought in to measure the new route, which has been granted Certification by Athletics Canada. (click on the Certification label, below, to view and enlarge route map).
