World Athletics and AIMS recognizes Peter Pimm as a Grade B course measurer, qualifying him to measure: 
Local Courses, National & Area Championships, and World Athletics Sanctioned Competitions.

Since 2000, Peter has measured many courses in order to approve the routes for Course Certification (see list below).

The measuring process involves using a Jones Counter, and the measurement data is reviewed for approval by Athletics Canada. Once the data is approved, a certificate with a course ID number is sent to the Race Director. You can see a sample of a Measurement Certificate here.
