Coach Peter Pimm has provided his running expertise to newspapers, magazines, radio (CFRB), television (Citytv, TSN), and films.
In the 90's, he made two notable appearances on Citytv's BT-Breakfast Television, hosted by Ann Roymer, when he was joined by the Bare Naked Ladies' bass player, Jim Creeggan (a former varsity and club athlete of Peter's), for a session on stretching using the wiry and great sport Jim for the demonstration.
Peter has been a colour commentator for TSN's coverage of the National Capital Marathon and Prince Edward County marathons, working with Jim Van Horne and Brent Wallace, respectively.
In 2005, he was contracted as technical consultant (see IMDb full cast and crew), choreographing the running action scenes for the ESPN's full-length movie, Four Minutes, about Roger Bannister's historic breaking of the 4 minute mile. The movie cast included academy award winner, Christopher Plumber. In 2006, the movie won an Eddie and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy award (Trailer below).
In April of 2012, Peter was again contracted to work as a technical consultant on the Bollywood movie, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (Trailer below).This commission required being stationed in New Delhi, India, for 3 weeks. The movie was released in 2013 and has become a major blockbuster hit.
