While on set in the Commonwealth stadium, around noon, Thursday April 19/12, folks were taken aback when they looked to the sky and witnessed the weather phenomenon of rings around the sun. You can read about his here.

Coach Pimm does the Taj Mahal. Unfortunately we had a guide who though he was trying out for the Olympic 400m. so we were almost taking pics on the run. Still worth it.
So on our way to India the bus was stopped at an intersection when a real snake charmer came up beside my bus window with a cobra in in basket....needless to say, thi spic was shot through teh CLOSED window....up close these vipers are nasty.

Stray dogs are everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE, in New Delhi.
These street dogs are the coolest - so laid back, despite being surrounded by incredibly chaotic traffic of anything with wheels imaginable, plus the constant blowing of horns.
Made me hum don't worry: be happy......

On my final day in New Delhi, I checked out one of the most iconic structure in India, India Gate..... when you are around its base, you are besieged by all manner of hustlers selling theri wares. Be prepared to say no about 10 times.
I took the above 2 pics at the awesome Janpath Market.....now, this is the place to if you want really good deals...the bartering is a load of fun....and nonstop.....this was one of the most enjoyable of just 3 days off work during the entire 20 days on the project.
Driving in New Delhi is unbelievable as teh roads are crowded with bikers, motorcyclist, auto-rickshaws, cars, trucks, cows, elephants and folks merrily walking along. The lane markers are effectively a rough guide; and many intersections lack stop signs. No wonder there there is a constant honking of horns.
Not surprisingly, there is hardly a car without a dent and/or scrapes on its body.
