Between 2010 and 2013 Coach Pimm established a small track club aimed at developing a select group of national level runners. Below are some of the notable results:

(unfortunately many of the links are now obsolete, and pics are not included.)

2010 CROSS COUNTRY

Our Lady of Lourdes CHS Early Bird, Guelph, Sept 17, 2010

 - David Watson finished 4th in the Junior Boys Race

Abbey Park Invitational, Centennial Park, Etobicoke, Sept. 30/10
   - David Watson had an outstanding race, winning this meet for the 2nd year in a row, as he danced (literally) his way across the finish line in the Junior
     Boys 6000m
   - Kyle Grieve opened his season up with a fine 2nd place perfomance in the Senior Boys 7000m

   - full meet results are here

Nat setting the pace

2010 Peter Morris Cross Country/Pre-Ofsaa, Etobicoke, Oct. 8/10
   - Kyle Grieve, 800m. Jr. Ofsaa Champ in 2009, finished a strong 5th out of 514 finishers at the Pre-Ofsaa meet on a gorgeous day in Centennial Park
over the 7,000m course, which includes 2 major hill climbs. It's called Pre-Ofsaa because the races are held on the same routes that are used for the
Ofsaa meet, 4 weeks later; so the majority of Ontario high schools attend in order to get a preview. Full results are here.

Mac Marauder Invite, Hamilton, Oct.14/10
   - Juniors, Braden Culver and David Watson, posted excellent performances in the 5 km. Junior race, run on a rainy day which resulted in a muddy and
very wet surface. For Braden, this was his first result since finishing 4th in the 2009 Pre-Ofsaa meet, as he also is renowned for his soccer and triple A
hockey skills....so a very encouraging performance. David also ran a dandy given that he opted for training flats and consequently was surfing as well
as running at times. Way to go lads!  Results are here.

St. Clair College 8 km., Windsor Oct. 17/10
   - St. Clair College hosted the final regular-season tune-up for OCAA runners on Saturday in preparation for the 2010 OCAA cross country championships
hosted by Fanshawe College on Oct. 30.  Nat Green, who led the race for the first 3 km., continued his fine season of performances finishing third.

Nat in action in Windsor
TDSSAA South/West Championships, Centennial Park, Etobicoke, Oct. 20/10
   - Kyle Grieve (aka "The Chef") was cookin', and winning as he stormed to victory over the 7 km. Sr. men's route..his margin of victory was about 80
sec. Next stop for Kyle is the all-Toronto's which is the qualifier for Ofsaa. Results for all Toronto regions are here.

Where's Kyle? At start line of TDSSAA
TDSSAA North/East Championships, Sunnybrook Park, Toronto, Oct. 19/10
   - Quinn Syrydiuk, our hockey playing runner, finished a strong 2nd overall in the combined championship and won the North Division Championship in
in the Midget Boys 4 km. He will join Kyle at the all-Toronto's. Results for all Toronto regions are here.

Brock Open, Brock University, St. Catharine's, Oct. 23/10
   - 800m specialist, Andrew Cruickshank (1:53.57) , tested his base over a very tough 5 km. route, finishing a solid 15th, out of a field of 74. Results are
here.  TDSSAA Championships, Centennial Park, Etobicoke, Oct. 26/10
Grieve has a 40 second lead at half way
The Chef, Kyle Grieve, continued his finest cross country season taking the lead from the gun in the senior boys 7 km. and powering away from the field for an almost one minute victory at the TDSSAA Championships

- and triple A hockey player, Quinn Syrydiuk, finished a very respectable 6th in the midget 5 km. to also qualify for the Ofsaa Championships on Nov. 6/10.

- results are here.
GHAC Championships, Christie Lake, Oct. 26/10
   - our Dynamic Duo of Braden Culver of St. Thomas Aquinas, and David Watson of Abbey Park, finished 1st and 2nd in the Junior 6 km. and managed
to create a media frenzy (see the article in the Hamilton Spectator)  in the process...the Duo  were about to finish the race in a tie when they decided to
stop just a metre before the finish line and decide the victor via a hastily played game of paper, rock, scissors. In the end, David dove across the line
while Braden craftily stuck his foot with the timing microchip across the line and was declared the winner. You can see the video coverage of this race
    here.
   - meanwhile, Dan Mathie, a past Ofsaa bronze medallist as a junior, continued his return to running shape after a 6 month involvement with rugby. Dan
finished  4th overall in the senior 7 km. and qualified for Ofsaa for the 4th year in a row. Full GHAC results here.

David and Braden with a different approach to win at GHAC
OCAA Championships, London, Ontario, Oct. 30/10
   - 2nd year Nathaniel Green,  ran a sterling race to finish 5th at the Ontario College Athletic Associations Championships and qualified for the
Ontario College team to compete at the Canadian College Athletic Association's Championships. Results are here.OFSAA Cross Country Championships, Centennial Park, Etobicoke, Nov. 6/10
Grieve at the top of his game at top of Centennial Hill
    - Kyle Grieve, representing Richview Collegiate capped off his high school season with the best cross
country performance of his life, finishing 8th in the Ofsaa Sr. boys 7 km. race. The "Chef's" previous
highest placing was 21st as a grade 10 junior.
   - newcomer, Evelyne Guay, posted a remarkable perfromance in the midget girls 3 km. finishing 10th.
   - Ofsaa results are here.

CCAA Cross Country Championships, Fredericton, New Brunswick, Nov. 13/10
   - Nat Green completed his college season in fine style, finishing 10th at the Canadian College Athletic Association cross country championships.
     Results are here.

Athletics Ontario Cross Country Championships, Guelph, Nov.14/10
   - Kyle Grieve finished a close 6th in one of the toughest Youth fields ever assembled, with the top 6 runners finishing within 13 seconds of each other.
(note - the times of this 4 km. race were not gotten due to technical failure; but you can view videos of this and the other races here.
Next stop for Kyle is the junior National Championships in Guelph, Saturday, Nov. 27/10.
   - 800m specialist, and first year as a senior, Andrew Cruickshank, ran a superb performance in the Sr. Men's 10 km. finishing 22nd
   - and midget, David Watson, also finished a respectable 22nd in the Midget Boy's 3 km.
   - Full results are here.

Canadian National Cross Country Championships, Guelph, Nov. 24/10
   - The Chef, Kyle Grieve,  saved one last gourmet meal for the fall season, placing  a stellar 21st at the Canadian Cross Country
Championships. The race was held on a hilly, and snow (see pic, below) covered 8 km. route by the University of Guelph campus, and brought together
193 of Canada's finest junior runners. This has truly been a breakthrough season for Kyle  - only 17 yr., he still has 2 more years ahead as a junior to
     improve upon this fine performance.
   - Full results are here, and you can watch videos of the races here.
